The Covid 19 pandemic has drastically changed the situation for material deliveries since April 2021. While previously a delivery time of 3-4 weeks was to be expected, it is now around 9-12 weeks from order.

There are several reasons for the delay. On the one hand, the prices for air freight have risen considerably, leading to a shift to sea freight, and on the other hand, the pandemic has also hit the ports hard.

The Covid 19 pandemic has driven up demand for certain goods, triggering a shortage of available container space. The three-week partial closure of the Yantian port in southern China further exacerbated the already tense situation. It led to a delay in the departure of 600,000 containers on ships and a massive backlog. The consequences are not only an extended delivery time of around 42% compared to the previous year, but also freight rates that are three times as high.

EOLED has a large stock of goods and also maintains long-term partnerships and supply agreements with international companies. Despite these precautions, which positively set us apart from our competitors, we cannot rule out the possibility of temporary bottlenecks in the delivery of products and thus delays in freight arrivals. Planning ahead is therefore particularly worthwhile at the moment. This way you benefit from the best delivery conditions and have long-term project security.

However, if time is pressing, we offer you the option of express delivery. With this service, the product is shipped by air and delivered within 3-4 weeks. The price of the product does not change with this option; you only pay the extra charge for air transport.

We will do our utmost to deliver and assemble your products on time. Thank you very much for your understanding.
